After over half a century of Rotary Club of Echuca Moama stewardship, the club has made the decision to hand over the running of the annual steam event to the Echuca Steam Preservation Society Inc. as the Echuca Moama Steam, Iron and Trades Revival

We look forward to seeing what these experts in steam come up with and will continue to support them behind the scenes. We hope that all of you will also throw your full support behind them to bring life back to our town’s annual steam event.

Thank you for your many years of support, patronage and treasured memories. We hope you are as enthusiastic about this new era of Steam in Echuca-Moama as we are.

As one of our region’s longest running major events, the event showcases more than 200 exhibits of yesteryear and has something to entertain every member of the family with many different things to see and experience. This family and enthusiast event is held annually on the Saturday and Sunday of the King’s Birthday long weekend in June. Whilst preserving the historical nature of the event by showcasing working horses, vintage cars and steam engines, the event also includes a number of other attractions for a younger audience.

The first ‘Steam Rally’ was held in 1963 — then known as the ‘Echuca Steam, Horse and Vintage Rally’.

This event is held at Rotary Park, 1-7 Rose St, Echuca.
